Dr. Altayeb Abdalaziz MBBS, MRCP (UK), MRCP (London), Senior registrar in Endocrinology & Diabetes,General Internal Medicine, Health Education North East (HENE)
Dr Abdalaziz is a senior Endocrine & Diabetes Registrar. He graduated with distinction from the University of Gezira in 2010 (MBBS with 1st class honours) and started his internal medical training in Sudan before he moved to the UK in 2014 to work as an international training fellow –Internal medicine training equivalent- in the East Yorkshire and Humber deanery.
He was appointed as a registrar in HEENE. In 2018 he was awarded the (Kelly-young prize) for the most junior Endocrine registrar to pass the speciality certificate exam of endocrinology (SCE) in the region.
During his training period he has published few case reports, abstracts, completed a book review and presented many posters in both national and international conferences.
He has extensive experience in medical education from undergraduate to post graduate clinical teachings to medical students with excellent feedback. He also participated in delivering teachings to medical students. (Clinical Skills and Advanced Communication teaching sessions for 5th year medical Students of University of Newcastle, 2017, 2018,2019).
Since his MRCP(UK) in 2015 and over the last six years he has been enjoying sharing his passion for clinical and bedside teaching with many PACES candidates in regular PACES teaching sessions and preparatory courses both in the UK and abroad with excellent feedback from colleagues and participants.
